Fight against Magma Man as Proto Man in Mega Man 9.Another pain in the ass, but not as much as Tornado Man or Hornet Man. He's pretty predictable, and Proto Man's shield will deflect his magma shots. He has two kinds of jump, the short and high ones. Get down onto the second to last platform, so that he's right across from you. If he jumps short, blast him in the face. If he jumps long, fall down and get to the other side. If he jumps REAL long, get ready to block his shot because he'll hit you if you just stand there. Stay near the bottom, hit him when you can, and block his shots and you'll be on your way.
