It starts as children. We are brainwashed to believe that all animals are treated perfectly with open paddcks to roam, plenty of food, water, shade and company. They die naturally and end up on our plates.Well, it's hard to believe that this is not the truth of modern-day farming...Music: Kings Of Leon "Velvet Snow"and Kings Of Leon "Day Old Blues"

Dec 2, 2008 - My video is directed at large money-hungry coorperations who factory farm.

Dec 2, 2008 - i understand what you were trying to get at but i think you could've been more clear on the fact that a majority of farms in the world aren't like this and that you were targeting certain bussinesses. also, videos will never make any difference unless you explain what can be done to change what is happening.

Dec 2, 2008 - mine will be on yahoo answers.

Dec 2, 2008 - Over 90% of the animals raised currently are done so in conditions like those detailed in the last part of the video and few are raised "humanely" as we are led to believe.

Dec 2, 2008 - good work! (i left a more detailed comment on yahoo)
lgsthunder Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - Not 90% of every animal on every farm in america. you should be more specific that you aren't targeting small, private farms. we raise steers, and chickens and do so completely humanely.
Henvious Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - Um, what *is* "completely humanely" and do you sell your animals to Wal-Mart for dinners? I didn't say "every" animal or "every farm now did I? Nor did I say "you" raise like most. Do not put words in my mouth please. And I was specific enough for most people to not take it all out of context to suit their personal outrage... but then, not everyone thinks everything is about them or excuses whatever everyone else does because they personally might be seen as bad too.
lgsthunder Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - what i'm mostly ticked about is how so many people think they are doing their part to change something by making a litttle banner or video that won't ever make a difference. the real way to help is to actually be out there trying to do something rather than sitting at home makeing videos about it.

SpottyPony Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - If you are going to have an opposing view, having facts to back it up would have more of an impact. Because your comment just makes you and your views look very silly. Making sence would be an added bonus too.
kelliefan1017 Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - Well its true. I know what it really stands for. But we put different things. So why dont you go ask any rodeo person what PETA stands for an they will say the same exact thing i did.
SpottyPony Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - Who cares. I'm more interested in what PETA stands UP for. Not what the NAME stands for.
FFFreakKHF Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - yea all that is true. but some farms don't do that. My friend's farm has 2 cows 7 chickens 4 goats and they arn't like this.
