I don't believe in leprechauns so much that I identify myself as a person that doesn't believe in leprechauns. Sounds ridiculous? People do it all the time. They are called atheists.

Jul 5, 2008 - If people believed in leprechauns and went around trying to convert you to their ridiculous deity God O'Murphy, ostracised you if you didn't believe in the pot of gold, and wanted to put giant pictures of shamrocks in schools and courthouses, I guarantee you there would be aleprechaunists. As nobody believes in leprechauns, you'll instead find atheists, speaking out when your equally silly beliefs in God contradict and contend with their lives and notion of what is real.

Jul 5, 2008 - I appreciate your comment, sir, and though I disagree, I can see your point. I would say to that that if people wanted to believe in such a fairy tale as a leprechaun and have relics and symbols all other the place then let them. We are creeping upon a post-Christian, post-modern world. Christianity is not in the forefront it once was. Humanism and "atheism" are growing by the droves. When the tables are turned, should I call myself an a-atheist? (The last sentence was not serious.)

jasonmit Says:

Jul 5, 2008 - K, but Santa Clause is real. He's the anti-christ.

jasonmit Says:

Jul 5, 2008 - I find it amazing how much atheists fear Christians. Like we eat brains or something. We believe what we want, and welcome others who wish to learn. Besides, the big bang theory told in detail sounds just as wacky as people view Creationism. It's been a while since I've heard it, but I think it involves aliens.

Yohum7 Says:

Jul 5, 2008 - lol good point dude, having a stance as a negitive possition is futile.

Gisburne2000 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - Atheists do not 'fear' (better to say 'despair of') all Christians. Most give me no cause for concern. Only the ones who daily sit in judgment of people's morals and try to inflict their standards and values on those who do not share them are what bothers me. Personally I hate ignorance, which is why your (albeit sarcastic... at least I hope) comments about Big Bang Theory are to be derided. When criticising something I at least take the time to find out what is the other person's position.

jasonmit Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - Jesus' teaching instructed us to never judge others. Jesus also teaches us that we're all sinners, thus no one is any better than anyone else. I know what you're talking about with judgmental Christians, however. I assure you most Christians isn't like that. The worse of any group seem to get the most attention. Hmm, maybe the same can be said about atheists.

jasonmit Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - And yeah, I was being a little sarcastic....a little. I was trying to make the point the big bang is just a theory just like any other. A lot of questions could be asked on how the big bang theory can be plausible. For people like me, it seems quite logical for there to be an external variable (God). After all, to me, science is a tool used by man to understand God's creations and how they work. I don't reject science...heck, I don't even reject the big bang theory.

Jul 6, 2008 - Very good. I loved your video.GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS!

Gisburne2000 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - When people say 'just a theory' that is the point at which they exclude themselves from intelligent discussion. If you don't even know what it means to be a scientific theory is, you simply show your ignorance. FYI, all you have to do is replace the word 'theory' with 'explanation'. Don't know how many times I've had to say that, but I suppose it will never sink in. God, meanwhile is not EVEN a theory (in your sense of word).

jasonmit Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - What have we learned her today children? There's no point in holding a discussion with an atheists. Every time you try, like the fascists they are, they will call you stupid or ignorant in the attempt to devalue your side of the discussion. Then he'll continue to say you're unable to hold an "intelligent discussion".

jasonmit Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - Oh, and when you think he's done, he'll end with one last "God isn't real" jab. The bottom line is, since I believe in God, no matter how well educated I may be, no matter how observant to the world I am, people like this creep will always see me as stupid, ignorant, and/or delusional. This has been a learning experience. We learned atheists are fascist bigots.

Jul 6, 2008 - I get it now sweetie :) Good video, not that I'm biased or anything ;)

jasonmit Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - Santa Clause does take a lot of attention away from Jesus on Christmas....Guess I should have explained that.

TheEdge012 Says:

Jul 9, 2008 - You mean there are no leprechans!?

AmericanWayne Says:

Jul 9, 2008 - God could be a theory (explanation) but why would we want to come to the explanation that a creation has a creator??

Gisburne2000 Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - A formation (rather than creation) does not need a creator.

guugolpl0x Says:

Jul 16, 2008 - You just unwittingly called God a leprechaun.

TheMainMane Says:

Jul 16, 2008 - well aren't you cool?

AmericanWayne Says:

Jul 17, 2008 - How long did it take you to figure that one out? I think you missed the entire point of this short, silly video.

AmericanWayne Says:

Jul 17, 2008 - I try but if you are giving lessons on how to really be cool then count me in.

guugolpl0x Says:

Jul 17, 2008 - Oh, it seems you make points through comedy? Hard to tell, though, with your other videos.

AmericanWayne Says:

Jul 18, 2008 - Well, I don't know which ones you have watched. I have a mix of all kinds of videos. Some have said if I stick to one format, I will have more subscribers. I like doing a mix of silly and serious and musical videos. Thanks for watching though! :)
