Dec 2, 2008 - Thanks for the upload. There a video of Stevie playing this in Australia in 84 and that was amazing. And so is this, this version is just out of this world amazing. Sends chills up and down my spine. Slow blues, and fast blues. Stevie was the complete package! R.I.P. Stevie!!!!!

Dec 2, 2008 - Hey 57 strat I see your pictures on here so I'm wondering is Stevie using a Gibson on this song?

1957fenderstrat Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - Yes. Hes playing a gibson. I don't recall what kind. Something similiar to B.B.'s.

csi2448 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - Something's telling me it's either the Rivera or the ES-335. But I'd put my money on the Rivera since I have a picture of Stevie playing with B.B. with a Rivera

DetroitDRight Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - I wish Stevie played more of those major licks, like :14 - :20. I love Stevie, but his playing was just so much Albert sometimes..

Tanello82 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - I had this from STUBB'S BBQ live...never heard this version...Thanks a lot for it...such tunes of stevie playing in such styles are so rare...guess he was some kind of respectful in some way to cross the King's style...you never hear him doing such stuff in famous lives...even though I would bet he had been playing and practicing on such tunes ever since he was a kid, a lot!
