Volkswagen are trying to sell off more Volks/Audis by showing what they can via the Bugatti brand.Each vehicle is sold at a loss, but probably as a whole Volks is making more sales.In the end it all comes down to profits, so Volkswagen must be making a profit somewhere to balance off the loss of each sold Veyron.

Dec 2, 2008 - My problem with the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport is 2 things: 1)Cost $150,000 more than the hard top, and 2)It's been limited to 217 mph. More expensive and Slower, think I'd get the hard top Bugatti Veyron instead... Plus I'd wait till next year, when they're gonna come out with a new Veyron with a top speed (reportedly) of around 270 mph. Because that's SICK. And I've got a Lead Foot :oD
