Nov 23, 2008 - Man, the music in the Splatterhouse series always seemed to stand out from the rest of the crowd. It was always catchy but still dark enough to fit the game.

Nov 23, 2008 - Too bad I missed out of one of the most fucked up games of its time. When I looked at it in the video store, I instantly thought it was some lame Jason ripoff game or something. Music's pretty good, a mix of scaryness with some low toned tunes.

Nov 23, 2008 - you're almost right. it's actually Rick Taylor though. but the "Terror Mask" that he wore in Splatterhouse 1 was so jason-like that the Turbo Grafx-16 version had his masked colored red to avoid possible infringment lawsuits from Paramount (they had the Friday the 13th rights at the time)
